The Chiles Experiment - Unleashed!!!

To all my tenacious Longhorn Nation Followers...I don't know what you all think best I think this an "AWESOME" move by Brown and his staff.  They are simply putting another offensive weapon all the field for Colt McCoy to throw to.  I think if Chiles can embrace this move he will and can be effective as a "SLOT" receiver.  We already have a few gifted receiver without even mentioning Shipley (TRUE Game Changing Player) we have so many weapons...just ask Ohio State they couldn't stop out potent passing game.  I know Quan is gone but Chiles will do his thing just watch and until next the way have you seen the size of his hands?  That ball is going to be caught by two gloved hands like super stick'em.

Let me hear some feedback...

McCoy to the NFL?

The big headline today was that Colt McCoy will file paperwork with the NFL to see his potential draft ranking after the season.

Is McCoy ready for the league?  If he wins the Heisman Trophy, I think he will leave for the NFL because his stock will be rated very high.

I think he needs another year at the 40 Acres to fine tune his game and make a run at a National Championship!!!

In my opinion, there are a few other Quarterbacks in the nation that will definitely go higher no matter what...Matthew Stafford, Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez.

I just don't know if McCoy should go the league yet...he can't be running like that at the next level that is for sure.

Let's get some productive feedback on this...The Pro vs. The Con?

Does Texas A&M have a chance?

I would like to hear some feed back on Texas A&M's chances to beat Texas in Austin.  I know for the past two season Texas A&M has had their number irregardless of records...That is why it is called a "Rivalry Game", right?  I want to hear some feed back from both sides on what you think each side must accomplish to come out victorious on this fine Thanksgiving Holiday?  A&M has talent but they are learning a new system under Coach Sherman and the rumors around the Alumni is that some players question the coach and his system?  That is why all the players (Mostly Juniors and Seniors) that should be starting are riding the bench and not getting as much Playing Time!!!

My Prediction:

I feel like Texas should and will blow out A&M by at least 35 points, if not more!!!  They have too period if they want to be in the same discussion as Oklahoma...only makes sense.  No question McCoy needs a regular season ending coming out party to still be considered a front runner for the Heisman, along with fellow BIG 12 QB Bradford...who by the way is the hands down favorite since beating Tech last week.  And the running game needs to get going and just start turning out yards.  Just think if we had Goodson or Javorski on our team damn what a mess for the rest of the country.  I know "What-IF's" are old but would be nice.  Let's not all forget that for the most part Texas's Defense is young with the exception of few players and they are playing at this level...nice job Muschamp (Coach in waiting!!!).

Go Horns!!!  But, be careful?

Prediction:  Texas A&M:  17 - Texas:  50+

The Future of University of Texas Football

My fellow Texas Longhorns we have a coach in waiting in Mr. Muschamp.  Sounds wonderful but how long does he have to wait?  Coach Brown seems like he could easily go another ten years and Muschamp is in his prime?  I mean what is it, the security of a knowing you will become the head coach one day (But, when?) or is he just not ready to take on the whole job as head coach?  Whatever the case is I know the money is right for him.  I just had a thought of interest...I was wondering if the NCAA could petition the United State Government to "BAIL" out all of the "Non-Money Generating" sports at every major Unveristy in the country and input a "Financial Stimulus Package" to pay the individual players?  Just would like hear some feedback on this or any other perspectives.
